Cultural subjects which have influence on contemporary industrial design. The perspective of the course is anthropological as it discusses the context and cultural relevance of industrial design. By the completion of the course, students will become familiar with some of the basic theories in Sociology, Anthropology, Design and Cultural Studies, and how these affect product development and design.
