FDT 234 Garment Technology I
The course aims at equipping students with deeper knowledge and skills in various
garment construction processes. At the end of the semester students will be able to:
1. Identify and handle special fabrics for various fashionable purposes.
2. Identify, familiarize and apply under-lying fabrics for various purposes and
effects
3. Construct lingerie: i.e., petticoats, panties, brassieres, waist slips etc.
4. Construct shorts, culottes and trousers.
