This course is a continuation of FDT 250 (Design and Illustration). It equips students with enhanced knowledge and practical skills in the fashion design and illustration process. It makes use of Photoshop and other computer drawing software for creating fashion/textile design and illustration activities.
This course equips students with creative and innovative knowledge and skills to effectively decorate garments. Garment decoration improves the aesthetics and final value of textiles. It contains a variety of techniques that are also avenues for future job opportunities for students and graduates.

The course aims at equipping students with knowledge and skill in adapting patterns for draped styles or designs on the dummy. It enables students to observe more critically and deepen their knowledge in pattern making.
This course equips students with enhanced knowledge and skills in designing and producing bags and slippers. Emphasis is placed on the technicalities that enable the design and construction of various types of bags and slippers
This course provides basic knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. They will also acquire skills that will help them to create and sustain their own businesses.
This course equips students with the knowledge and skills of the rudiments of academic oral presentation. It enables students to express themselves orally by giving educative talk based on fashion/textiles. Students should research on approved topics, compile data, synthesize the data into chronological material and do oral presentation to an audience that includes fellow students, teachers, technicians and invited personnel from the relevant industry. At the end of each talk the floor would be opened for meaningful contributions from the audience. The corrected report should be presented for assessment after an approved period.
