This course seeks to give students a chance to think aloud about their experiences while on industrial attachment in terms of appropriate and inappropriate conduct and actions. It creates an opportunity for students to reflect upon what they have learnt and what they still need to learn as they plan a future after their studies. This course also, provides a forum where students are able to present and discuss the reports that detail and appraise the overall work/study experience while serving as interns.
This is a studio-based course is designed to assist students to focus on the real world demands of the Jewellery industry. An important element of the course is work-based learning that seeks to link up classroom activities with a real world of work experiences gained through the Industrial Attachment Programme (IAP).
The course would involve a series of presentations of a purposeful collection of students' works that exhibit their efforts, progress, and achievements during their four year study in the department of Jewellery Design Technology.
This course introduces students to the managerial environment of managing a jewellery making facility.
This course is designed to offer students an understanding and application of the basic concepts of Studio based research and its methodologies. The course helps students to identify appropriate research topics.
This course is designed to deepen knowledge about all the components of the balance sheet, using a double entry book keeping method.
